A PhD student at OSU's Fisheries, Wildilfe, and Conservation Sciences, Kirsty’s research will use hormone analysis, tissue samples, ultrasound images (for reproductive condition) and conventional and novel satellite tags to determine essential habitats and migration routes of the porbeagle shark within the NWA. A specific focus of this research will be YOY and pregnant females.
