Summer is racing along, our research is going exceptionally well, and the ASI Shark License Plate orders keep rolling in. We have now taken more than 7,000 orders, and the plate is the fastest selling charity plate in Rhode Island history! Thank you again for this tremendous support.
Passenger and Combination Orders
We have been notified by the RI DMV that due to the record-breaking volume, they now anticipate a distribution event for the plates in late September. The original estimate was late August/early September.
Like you, we are eager to receive our plates, and can’t wait to see them on our cars and yours. We are in contact with the DMV on a weekly basis, and will continue to provide updates as they become available.
In the meantime, if you know anyone else who would like a passenger, combination, commercial, or motorcycle plate, please send them to atlanticsharkinstitute.org to place their order.
Commercial and Motorcycle Orders
As of today, we have orders for over 300 commercial plates and more than 100 motorcycle plates. Those plate versions will not be made or distributed until we hit certain minimums so please keep spreading the word!
