A number of purchased plates are waiting for pickup at the DMV. If you haven't picked up yours, please do it today! This applies for PASSENGER AND COMBINATION ONLY. Thousands of ASI Shark Plates are now on the road, and if your car has one of them, thank you! If you have an ASI Shark Plate waiting for you at RIDMV, please make arrangements to pick them up as soon as possible. This is for plates ordered through September 4, 2023. The DMV address is 600 New London Avenue, Cranston.
You do NOT need an appointment, but you do need a copy of your registration. Can't make it in person? You can have someone else pick up your plates. All they need is a copy of your registration and the DMV is open Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-3:15PM. Your new registration and decal are already in the packet that is registered with the DMV and the State of Rhode Island so please pick up your plate as soon as possible.
